The work will entail:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social science or related major.
- Understanding of American government and politics.
- Familiarity with empirical research methods.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- U.S. Citizen Preferred
Research Proposal
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in finalizing and disseminating the program’s publications or other written work products.
- Assist with adjudicating public comments related to NIST’s Zero Draft Pilot Project, or other
deliverable comment periods, and periodically prepare written analysis of the feedback for the
project team’s review. - Support investigations about program related activities through empirical research.
- Support senior leaders in analyzing and reviewing a variety of sources including media reports and
legislation for the impact on the NIST artificial intelligence program.
