Research opportunities at every career stage
The Professional Research Experience Program (PREP) offers opportunities for research training jointly between the University of Maryland, College Park and NIST Gaithersburg.
Opportunities may be available for UMCP undergraduates, post-baccalaureate and post-master’s students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, senior researchers (more than 5 years after doctoral degree), and academic affiliates (typically, current faculty members). New opportunities are posted here regularly.
To be considered for a position, submit a cover letter explaining your qualifications for the position and a curriculum vitae.
